STUDY HALL
The laptops are to be used for educational purposes only! This is stated
in the AUP that students, parents, and teachers have to sign every year.

If you are fortunate enough to have laptops in your study hall class, you
have an additional educational resource.

I have created a student webpage on our GMS website.
www.gms.pngisd.org  Student Life  (left side) >  Academics

Only websites from the GMS Student webpage will be allowed.  If students are
going to unapproved websites, they could get a sticker and/or lose their computer
privileges. Students have plenty to do during study hall and they should use this
time wisely.  The laptops are not for their personal pleasure during this time.

Suggestions for Study Hall:
·         Read AR book
·         Study for upcoming tests
·         Finish daily assignments
·         Do homework
·         Make-up work

Suggestions for Computer Use during Study Hall:
·         Spelling City (approved assignments from teacher)
·         Study Island (approved assignments from teacher)
·         Learning.com (approved assignments from teacher)
·         AR tests
·         eBooks  (approved by librarian)
·         Practice Keyboarding  (approved websites on GMS student website only)
·         Approved educational games (on GMS student website only)
